History of Leuthold Mechanik AG

Since the mid-seventies, we have been recognised for quality and commitment.

Everything started when Heinz Leuthold, who at that time was still training as a tool maker, developed and built special parts for the machine industry after work in his father’s cellar. After five years of continuous progress, he opened his own business to meet the growing demand for his products. This also marked the start of his specialisation on aluminium packaging.

Since 2012, HLM has been manufacturing machines with around 175 employees at the Einsiedeln factory for customers from all over the world. Thanks to our fully renovated production facilities, our factory operates at the highest level of energy efficiency.
